Building A Better Business

There aren't many things more difficult than building a business from the ground up. In addition to focusing on bringing in new customers and keeping business deals alive, you might also be stressed about keeping things young, current, and profitable. I started working at my parent's business several years ago, and it really paid off down the road when experience started to come in handy. This blog is here to help you to build a better business, keep your employees employed, and to impress your customers each and every single day you keep the doors open. 3 Promotional Items To Promote Your Business With This Winter

Dennis Jenkins

Promotional items are a great way to market your business, as they keep your brand's name in the mind of potential customers and clients. They're only effective, however, if they're used. A pencil, for example, isn't useful if it just sits in a pencil drawer. Customers will only remember your brand when they use the pencil. If you're looking for promotional items that customers will actually use this winter, here are some ideas.

Travel Coffee Tumblers

Coffee tumblers are classic promotional items, because lots of people use them at least a few times a week. They're an especially practical gift to give away as the weather cools, though. Throughout the winter, people will be drinking coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and other warm beverages. Even if they already have a travel mug, getting another one will be a welcome addition to their cupboard. They can use it as their primary travel mug, use it as a backup if they don't want to clean their primary one or lend it to a friend when someone visits.

Hats, Gloves, or Scarves

Most people either already have or plan on buying hats, gloves, and scarves to use throughout the winter. They may not wear a hat, pair of gloves, or scarf with your business' logo on it each day.

Many people will, however, find these additional items useful, especially if you suggest a way to use it. When giving out a branded hat, pair of gloves, or scarf as a promotional item, recommend that people put them in the trunk of the car so they'll be available if their car breaks down this winter. Even though the people you give these items to might not wear them on a daily basis, they'll see the promotional items — and your company logo — each time they open their car's trunk.

Cup for Rock Salt

If your potential clients or customers are located in the Northern United States, a cup to spread rock salt with will be used on a regular basis. Lots of homeowner purchase bags of rock salt to keep their driveways and walkways from being too icy, but these bags usually don't come with anything to spread the salt with. Potential clients and customers can use a cup that you give them to scoop up rock salt and toss it on their walk ways. This way, they won't have to ruin one of their own cups spreading the stuff.
